COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols

The health & safety of our HDC's families, dancers, and staff is our top priority!
We ask anyone with a temperature over 99 degrees to remain at home and participate via Zoom.
Two camera stations have been added to our dance room to help both dancers taking class from home via Zoom AND for the enjoyment and reassurance of our parents who are encouraged to watch their child's dance class on their phone, tablet, or device in real time each and every week!
Masks are optional as of May 2022,

but this may change as per CDC guidance.

The iWave-C Commercial Air Purifiraction System has been installed in our studio, killing viruses and pathogens in a safe manner using positive and negative ionization rather than harsh UV light sanitization methods.

'Spots' have been marked on the floor in both the hallway/waiting area and the studio to keep dancers at least 6 feet apart.
Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout building. Students and staff will disinfect their hands at the start of every class and during each transition.

Ballet Barres and Acro mats will be cleaned and disinfected immediately after use before moving on with the rest of the lesson. *Acro dancers will use hand-sanitizer after each pass on the mat.
Our schedule allows time for the dance room to be cleaned before the next class begins.
Staff will disinfect common touchable surfaces throughout the day.
In the event of another mandated closing due to Covid-19, ALL classes will automatically be taught over Zoom following the same schedule.
Any dancer currently awaiting Covid-19 test results should remain home and take class on Zoom until test results are confirmed.
Dancers waiting to start class should wait on a FLOOR DOT; Dancers finished with class should meet their parent in the waiting room..
